Start Teaching and Leading in International Schools

New to international schools?

Most teachers do not start by searching for “international teaching.” They start with real questions: Can I teach overseas? Do I need certification? What do international schools pay? Can I move abroad with my family? Is this a career move, a midlife escape hatch, or both? Fair question.

ITP helps teachers and school leaders understand what international schools are, how overseas hiring works, what recruiters and job fairs actually do, how salaries and benefits compare, and how to decide whether teaching or leading abroad is the right fit.

Co-Hosts

Greg

Gregory Lemoine

The "Single Guy"

Greg has been overseas since 2001 as an educator. He brings that "single" traveler and educator perspective to the show. He loves to ask questions about Recruiting Fairs and don't even get him started talking about diving. The episode won't end.

Greg has taught - so far - in seven different countries and as many schools. He and Matt the "Family Guy" created the show together back in 2021 to simply share the Best Kept Secret in Education.

Kent

Kent Arimura

The "Cat Guy"

Kent was made for Radio and Podcasting. Perhaps it was his early experiences as a stand-up commedian. Currently, he is a standup Elementary teacher.

Kent and his wife, Karla, have taught in the USA, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and are on their way back to the USA in the summer of 2025.

Kent is the energy of the show, the joke master, and the loudest any podcast recording studio has ever dealt with.

Jacqueline

J.P. Mint

JP Mint Consulting

Jacqueline matches quality teachers and administrators with quality International Schools. The most important factor that sets her apart? She is on the your side as the individual rather than paid by the schools.

JP is retired from the schools and classrooms she taught in and led around the world. She is currently nestled in Mexico and sometimes, can be found with her mom in Canada.

Hannah

Hannah Profile 2026

Hannah "the Family Gal"

Hannah Loney is a proud expat mom and lifelong third culture kid who’s been living between worlds long before it was trendy. She’s raising her own globally mobile kids while juggling passports, plug adapters, and at least three time zones at any given moment.

She has lived and taught in Brazil, Kuwait,  Pakistan, and Texas (which she’s convinced is basically its own country separate from the United States).

She loves talking about identity, belonging, and the beautiful chaos of raising third culture kids — because for her, “Where’s home?” has never had a simple answer.

Matt

Matt Judd

The Original "Family Guy"

Matt is the other Founder of our show. He is a father of four, loving husband, great baseball player and golfer, not to mention he is funny...looking.

Matt is on an undetermined hiatus, but you will enjoy listening to him when he does co-host an episode once in a while.

Matt and his wife Stacy have been teaching overseas since 2008 in Venezuela and Saudi Arabia.

Matt brings the "Family Man" perspective to our show.

Darian

Darian Batten

The "New Family Guy"

Introducing the most wonderful laugh you will ever hear. He's not just any elementary teacher overseas, Darian is the SUPER-HOST. Listeners will enjoy listening to his astute questions that lead our guests along a conversation that we can all learn from.

Darian and His wife have been teaching in the USA, UAE, and currently in Saudi Arabia. They have a daughter and two sons that experience the schools and life overseas with them.
